Samaritans offer a confidential emotional support service 24 hours a day every day of the year to people in emotional distress including those who have suicidal feelings.

What do Samaritans do? Samaritans provides confidential emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. You don't have to be suicidal to call us. We are here for you if you're worried about something, feel upset or confused, or you just want to talk to someone.

What happens when I contact you? If you phone, email or visit us we will will not judge you or tell you what to do. We might ask you how you are feeling and invite you to talk about your feelings. We give you the time and space that you need to talk if you want to.
