Active Devon is your local physical activity and sports partnership. We aim to provide the single source of activity information for players, organizers, supporters and media. We work in partnership with local authorities to increase participation in sport and activity.
Depression Alliance is the leading UK charity for people affected by depression. We work to relieve this treatable condition by providing information, support and understanding. We also campaign to raise awareness amongst the general public about the realities of depression. We produce a series of booklets and leaflets about various aspects of depression and co-ordinate a national network of volunteer-led self-help groups, although unfortunately we currently do not have any in Devon. www.recoverydevon.co.uk - this site contains lots of information on mental health recovery and is aimed at the secondary mental heatlh sector, however, sections are relevant and useful to the primary care sector.
SANE is a national mental health charity which aims to raise awareness of mental illness and campaign to improve services and initiate and fund research into the causes of serious mental illness through its research centre. Information and emotional support is also provided to anyone affected by mental illness via the helpline, SANEline and by email, via SANEmail.How to Access

www.theredpoppycompany.co.uk - The Red Poppy Company offers a unique and effective range of trauma management services specifically aimed at organisations. It is the only company in the UK set up to provide other companies with access to specialist trauma treatment services.

The Red Poppy Company only takes referrals from organisations, they do not take self-referrals.
